The Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center is pleased to announce the launching of the Green Book Grants Management website (www.gbgm.info). The Green Book© is a dynamic, interactive fundraising resource designed to help charter and other public schools gain improved access to grants and other funding opportunities so they can improve school operations and student achievement. Created by school operators, and funded by a U.S. Department of Education Dissemination Grant, The Green Book enables administrators to find grants simply and easily – so they no longer have to sort through hundreds of grant opportunities listed in directories, newsletters, listservs, and countless other resources.
Why use the Green Book? Because you can find federal, state, foundation, corporate and other grants – along with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and/or application guidelines all in one place! Simply go to www.gbgm.info, sign up as a new user (it’s free!), click on the Interactive Worksheet, click on the criteria for the type of funding you are seeking, click on the demographic and other information specific to your school, and then click on Submit. You will instantly receive a list of grant matches from all the funders listed in the database (federal, foundation, etc.) along with a grant description and the most current RFP with deadline and other information needed to complete and submit your application.
The federal, foundation, corporate and other grants are applicable to public schools throughout the United States. Currently, the state grants are limited to Arizona, but the database will continue to grow and evolve, so please visit the site often.
Next time you are looking for a grant for your school, check out the simple-to-use Green Book Grants Management website. Grant seeking has never been easier!
