Foundation of the Month
Lyndhurst Foundation
In 2001, the Lyndhurst Foundation gave nearly $11 million to education
in southeastern U.S. states. Specific education interests include education
reform, arts/humanities, elementary education, environmental education, leadership
training, school volunteerism and student aid. The Foundation provides employee
matching, general support, multiyear, and operating expenses grants. Recent
grants have ranged from $10,000 to $5 million.
