In 2001, the Binswanger Companies and its Foundation gave more than $400,000 to education and other issues to nonprofit organizations in Pennsylvania. Specific education interests include arts/humanities, business and business to school partnerships, charter schools, colleges and universities, and minority education. The Foundation provides grants for general support. Recent grants have ranged from $1,000 to $70,000.
