WHAT’s THIS ALL ABOUT?
Join us to discuss the basics of grantmanship, including how to “flesh out” your idea into a solid, well-planned and executed program to present to funders. You will learn how to develop the key components of a grant or proposal, including a needs statement, goals, activities, and a comprehensive evaluation. You will also learn how and where to identify foundation, corporate, government, and other grant opportunities. This all day dynamic, interactive grantwriting workshop includes the basics of grantwriting through the development of a full application. NCSC experts will provide short training sessions in each key grant category (Need, Goals, Activities, etc.) throughout the day. Between sessions, participants will “break away” to work on grants for your school. Experienced grantwriters will serve as moderators to answer all your questions as you write your grant.
