The Mary A. Crocker Trust
provides nearly 25 percent of its funding to pre-college public education. Specific
education issues are: education funds, education reform, environmental education,
faculty development, leadership training, literacy, minority education, preschool
education, school volunteerism, science/mathematics, and special education.
The geographic focus is the San Francisco area. The Foundation provides capital,
emergency, general support, project, and seed money grants. Recent grants have
ranged from $5,000 to $25,000; the foundation awarded a total of $600,000
in 2000.
